I had heard that electrolysis was painful and so I tried laser first. I have red hair which didn't respond at all to the laser though I did have welts for about 4-5 days after each session. In my experience, the laser was much more painful than electrolysis with Susan. I have been doing weekly sessions for the last month or so and I am starting to see a difference. There is some redness but it is not nearly as bad as with the laser, and it is gone by day 2.

Over the years I have encountered a number of electrologists of varying degrees of proficiency. I'd just like to add my voice to the chorus singing Susan's praises. She is extremely professional, skilled and concerned with the TS community. I was impressed with her healthful, sanitary approach and her gentle touch. She started with a health history, which I had never had from an electrologist before. She relaxes you and makes you comfortable with a 20-minute trial session. In addition to being a skilled technician with years of experience, she knows the concerns and needs of our special community. She is a valuable font of information and can network individuals with others. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking resolution to the sensitive problem of unwanted hair.

I tried everything, but nothing got rid of the unwanted hair. I knew electrolysis was the right way to go (the only permanent hair removal method) and decided to find one in NYC, thinking I wouldn't find an electrologist up to my standards here in Orange County. I went to the city for almost a year. The trip down and back was time-consuming and the cost for a session was very pricey. I decided I needed to look closer to home and that's when I found Susan on the internet. It impressed me that Susan had attended school in Massachusetts for electrolysis and was also licensed. I have seen more improvement in my few months with Susan than I did in almost a year with the electrologist in the city. Susan is a true professional, always on time and excellent at what she does AND her prices are much more reasonable than city prices. She follows strict sanitary guidelines, she is kind, considerate of my needs and makes me feel comfortable. You don't need to go to NYC to find a true pro--she's right here in Orange County and her prices are so much better. Give Susan a call.
