David was asking God to destroy His enemies because of the result of war. I see you pray that God destroy all unsaved people and you teach we should hate unsaved people and they should be our foes. I was wondering what your intake on these verses from jesus. Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Hi, I'm 15 years old, a Christian and I have give my life to God's mission. I must say, what I think you are doing on this website is wrong, and completely biased. You never look at the many verses that contradict your argument, see. E.g, you say that God hates the sin and the sinners too, well look at these two verses: 1 John 3:8 (8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Romans 5:8 (8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Do you see? How can God hate the sinners if his love is unconditional, his love is better than any earthly love we could've experienced? And how can you say you pray against sinners, that they will die?! You condemn everyone on earth to death, including yourself! Everyone sins, any thought that is not pure, e.g. being jealous of someone, hating someone, wishing death upon someone (which is as good as murder). Another verse to consider is this: John 3:17 (New International Version) 17"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." You are condemning these people. If you want to save them so much, you have to be caring towards them, kind and loving. Jesus was. He didn't come down to Earth and say to everyone "God hates you all, sinners!" If he did, would so many have believed? No way! You also say that you prove that God hates the sinner, using this verse: "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren." (Proverbs 6:16-19) You haven't even read the verse properly, read it again. For one thing it says "These six THINGS doth the Lord hate..." Don't you see, it is showing SINS, not SINNER. It doesn't say '"These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A person with A proud look, a person with a lying tongue, someone with hands that shed innocent blood,a person with a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations...." You get my point. Also, further down the page of God hates the sin AND the sinner, you quote Pat Robertson. This, again, is a stupid quote because the man is talking about a story in the OLD TESTAMENT, which is BEFORE Jesus came, died for our sins so that we don't have to. I agree with Pat Robertson, they were extremely wicked people, but had they lived in the new testament time onwards, Jesus wouldn't have condemned them to death! Jesus loved the wicked! He forgave The woman at the well, the woman caught in adultery, the sinner on the cross next to him, the paralysed man...the list goes on and on and on. See, you're just biased, you don't look at the hundreds of verses and stories about Jesus and his love for EVERYONE, sinners included. I've not even addressed or gone into detail with half of your wrong and misguided beliefs about the heart of God, but at least that's a start, and hopefully it will make you think, but probably not. You have too much pride to change your ideas, I'm sure. This is not hatemail, just a 15 year old girl putting you in your place with the other side of your argument argument, backed up with Bible verses. But hey, please do put it on your website so that people can see, or will you hold it back, as I suspect you have been doing, seeing as there are no mails like mine on your website?
